The city of Detroit has honored the late Amp Fiddler by renaming a street in his Conant Gardens neighborhood after him. The musician, who died in 2023 at 65, was beloved around the world for working with groups like Parliament-Funkadelic and mentoring others in the community, including a young J Dilla.
